Network Folder Information

PC Users

Windows 2000/Windows XP users who log into Novell will have an application object pushed out after the next successful login. There will be a folder on their desktop called ACAD, and another sub directory under that called COC. This will also show up under the My Network Places (desktop icon on most computers) this should also show up under My Computer. All department chairs have read/write access to this directory. (If this does not appear on your computer, call 6266.)

Mac Users

OS X

Select the Finder menu "Go/Connect to server..." Type in "asu-fs2" in the "Server address" box. Login with username/password and choose the "User" volume. A desktop icon for "ASU_FS2.USER" will appear. There will be a folder within that volume called "ACAD," and another sub directory under that called "Council of Chairs." All department chairs have read/write access to this directory.

OS 9

Open the Chooser. Click on the Appleshare icon. Click on "Server IP address" (near bottom right of the window). Type in "asu-fs2" - login with username/password - choose the "User" volume. A desktop icon for "User" will appear. There will be a folder within that volume called "ACAD," and another sub directory under that called "Council of Chairs." All department chairs have read/write access to this directory.
